Gaining weight is something that I always had trouble with, and all the skinny boys out there can really relate with me on this. So there I was, this pubescent teen about 120 pounds, looking the way I did and not feeling at all manly. Blame it on my genetics, blame it on my previous eating habits, blame it on my body type – but no matter how much anyone was going to explain it to me, I just wanted to know how to gain weight fast. If you saw me today, you would probably not have believed the story I just told you, albeit the brief version. It was a lot of magazine reading, a lot of force feeding and a lot of exercising. But looking at me now, at 180 pounds, about 11% body fat, this was not the way that I got there – this is not how to gain weight fast.

I was just doing things the wrong way, and this is the story of many people out there. They had no guidance. Within weeks of turning my strategy around and actually approaching experts who knew about nutrition, who knew about advanced techniques to get my body in gear – then and only then was I clued in on how to gain weight fast, beat the odds, beat genetics and look the way I do today.
